The 1/20/21 Climate Eexecutive Order sets forth broad climate policy goals (Section 1) and directs an immediate review of all “existing regulations, orders, guidance, documents, policies and any other similar agency actions” by the previous administration that might be inconsistent with policy goals. Agency heads are to consider suspending, revising or rescinding any actions deemed not in alignment with the new goals (Section 2). Further, the EO names many specific actions taken by the previous administration that are to be suspended, revised or rescinded.
